Change Registered user name

Change Registered user and Company name in XP/Vista


  • Open "regedit"
  • Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version
  • Double click on either RegisteredOwner or RegisteredOrganization, and enter your desired values in the "Value data" field to change the Register user or Company name.
Check "My Computer" Properties to see the change.
